What is the Branch Torch Challenge?
The Branch Torch Challenge is a team-based activity where branches take turns holding the Torch, completing challenges, earning points, and passing the Torch to the next branch.
How long does our branch hold the Torch?
Each branch holds the Torch for 48 hours from the moment it is passed to them.
What if we can’t complete the challenge within 48 hours?
If your branch does not complete at least one main activity within the 48-hour window:
- Your branch earns 0 points
- The Torch will automatically pass to another branch within your division
Can we request extra time?
No. To keep the challenge fair and moving, the 48-hour limit is firm for all branches.
Do we have to complete all activities?
No.
- Each branch must complete ONE main activity
- Bonus activities are optional, but they allow your branch to earn extra points
What happens if we complete the main activity but not the bonus activities?
You will still earn points for completing the main activity. Bonus activities simply help increase your total score.
How are points calculated?
Points are awarded based on:
- Completion of the main activity
- Completion of optional bonus activities
- Difficulty level (harder activities earn more points)
Who chooses the next branch to receive the Torch?
If no branch is selected within the required time, the Torch may be passed automatically to another branch to keep the challenge moving.
Can two branches hold the Torch at the same time?
No. Only one branch holds the Torch at a time.
What if we experience technical issues while submitting our activity?
